Prof. Dr. Anna Dubrovska is a group leader at OncoRay – National Center for Radiation Research in Oncology, Dresden, Germany since 2011. She works in different institutes and is internationally recognized for her achievements in cancer research. She is a frequently invited expert and speaker in the field.
Prof. Dubrovska's research focuses on:
  1. Characterization of new CSC based biomarkers for the development of predictive tests based on CSC density, distribution and sensitivity to therapy;
  2. Identification of small molecules which can specifically target CSC to restore tumor radio- and chemo responsiveness;
  3. Understanding the genetic programs and biological processes underlying cancer stem cell biology.
