1. Editor-in-Chief
Editor-in-Chief, the most senior position among all editors, who leads and represents the journal with assistance from the other academic editors and the editorial office.
Responsibilities
- Acts as an ambassador of the journal to the academic community;
- Sets journal development strategy;
- Supervises the editorial process and ethical practice;
- Ensures overall publication quality;
- Promotes the journal and attracts submissions.
Qualifications
- Highly-respected academic reputation and outstanding publication record;
- Senior academic position in a University and/or other research institute or organization;
- Excellent leadership and decision-making capability;
- Good time-management skills;
- Strong sense of commitment and cooperation;
- Proficiency in English.
2. Editorial Board
The Editorial Board acts as a ready advisory board and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the journal's publication quality. The term of an Editorial Board member is 2 years but can be renewed.
Responsibilities
- Advises on journal scope and direction;
- Suggests frontier topics for the journal to chase;
- Reviews and makes decisions on manuscripts;
- Advises on complicated issues encountered during the publishing process;
- Promotes the journal and attracts article submissions.

- Respected academic reputation and strong publication record;
- Senior academic position in a University and/or other research institute or organization;
- Strong sense of commitment and cooperation;
- Proficiency in English.
3. Guest Editor
Guest Editor is the lead editor of a special issue, a themed issue that collects high quality papers on a specific research topic.
Responsibilities
- Determines the specific scope of the special issue;
- Recommends potential authors;
- Supervises the editorial process and makes decision on manuscripts submitted to the special issue;
- Guarantees the overall quality of the special issue;
- Promotes the special issue after publication.

- Good time-management skills;
- Strong sense of commitment and cooperation;
- Proficiency in English.
4. Voluntary Reviewer
Peer review is a vital process for maintaining the quality of scholarly publication. We are grateful to reviewers who have contributed their valuable time to review manuscripts for our journals.
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive, unbiased reviews on assigned manuscripts;
- Keeps the manuscript confidential;
- Declares any competing interests prior to commencing the review process.
Qualifications
- PhD, MD, or equivalent;
- Reliable and recent publication record;
- Commitment to review deadline;
- Proficiency in English.
